The department was established in 2013. Arabic is the language of the Holy Quran. Besides Arabic is one among the six official languages of UNO. Arabic is spoken by more than 200 million people throughout the world. It is the main language of most Middle East countries. The department aims to provide in-depth knowledge to the students to explore the rich Arabic culture and civilization.

HOD's Message

Arabic is the mother of all languages. The aim of the Arabic department is to give the learners a sound understanding of Islamic and Arabic literature of their choice in the proper historic o-critical perspectives. Good knowledge of reading comprehension and writing skills would be a prerequisite for the programme. The program offers an opportunity to learners for higher studies in Arabic, besides offering the core courses. It includes themes in some of the emerging areas of Arabic that are expected to be extremely useful in the present scenario of economic liberalization and globalization.

 

 

Facilities:

The department has all types of facilities for teaching the Arabic Language. The department having rich faculty and a collection of books of the latest editions.
