Department of Computer Applications in association with ICT and Debate and Seminar Committee celebrated Cyber Jagrokta Diwas on 4th of August,2022 in the collge conference hall to raise the awareness among the students and faculty about the cybercrimes and necessary measures to be taken to stay safe in this technological era.

A total of 170 students participated in the event. The event was attended by the Principal, Prof. Fouzia Fatima, the staff and the students from all the disciplines of the college. The inaugral speech was given by the Principal Prof. Fouzia Fatima, who shared the experiences that a common man faces nowadays.

Prof. Aasia Quyoum, HOD Computer Applications and Coordinator of the programme, formally welcomed the attendees of the event and the resource person Dr. Faheem Masoodi, Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science, University of Kashmir. The guest speaker deliberated on the Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking and presented a detailed overview of cybercrime scenarios across the globe, with special reference to J&K.
