About

The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2010. The department is presently headed by Prof. Aasia Quyoum. Initially, an intake capacity of 30 seats was approved which was later enhanced up to 40 seats. The Department, since its inception, has produced quality manpower which has been absorbed by the industry/academic institutions and other organizations at local, national, and international levels.

The Department was established in the year, 2013 for teaching, training, understanding and practicing various aspects of Chemical Sciences. We offer an undergraduate degree program with Chemistry as one of the core subjects under the affiliation of University of Kashmir, Srinagar. Moreover, the Department aims to provide sound trainings to the students to understand the basic principles and techniques of the Chemistry. Over the years the enrolment ratio in subject has increased manifolds which reflects the passion of the students for the subject. Besides, the Department provides better infrastructure, quality teaching and conducive environment for “Teaching-Learning” process that has a prominent role to play in the continuous rise in the enrolment of students. The Department plays a significant and vital role in dealing with the academic aspirations of a fairly large number of students and till date the responsibility has been shouldered in the most professional manner.
